Let’s Go LADADK …. with FOTORBIT
ABOUT
Ladakh the most majestic Himalayan cold desert on earth was one of the most unforgettable, visually stunning and an adventurous epic journey of my lifetime. Leh, the capital of Ladakh is set amidst snow capped hills and is the centre of Tibetan-Buddhist culture. Ladakh has become a popular destination for photographers and adventure buffs. Picture-postcard lakes and mesmerising landscape, colourful monasteries and its rich culture, vibrant people, exotic wildlife jell flawlessly with a ruthless temperate climate and an unforgiving terrain.
Join us on this journey into the mountains of Ladakh as we explore the Hemis Festival, dedicated to Lord Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche, an 8th century Buddhist master. This festival of dance and theatre is enacted with elaborate masks, costumes, and adornment.
