ITINERARY
This Tour begins at JODHPUR at around 12:00 pm on day one and ends at Jodhpur in the evening on day 6. Participants may choose to reach jodhpur by either air or road depending on their preference, but transport between your home and our hotel in Jodhpur is NOT included in the Tour itinerary or cost. However, all required assistance will be duly provided. Finally, you will be dropped at Jaisalmer at noon on day 6.

Day 1
14.03.2021(Street & Night Shoot)
Meeting Point – hotel (12:00 pm)
Post Lunch :
We will start our tour workshop with a formal introduction meeting with all the participants followed by day’s shooting guidance with photo presentation.
All participants will be acknowledged about the details and technical requirements of the evening light painting shoot of Meherangarh Fort as a backdrop. This is a low light slow shutter shoot, so knowledge of execution with exposure triangle would be the highlight of this session.
Day 2 Jodhpur(Blue Street, Step Well & Other Streets)

Entire the day we will be busy shooting various aspects of Jodhpur city for which the place is admired worldwide. In the morning, we will start with the architectural beauty of STEP WELL of TOORJI KA JHALRA. The presence of local women in traditional attire on the stairs would adorn the beauty most. We will shoot local people taking bath and doing other activities in the yore old stepwell at its natural best. Next we will explore the nearby lanes with its beautiful wall art. We would capture the candid street as well as the conceptual shots to do perfect justice with or lens. Later our team will be exploring the narrow alleys of the BLUE STREETS to unearth those untold blue-stories under the expert guidance of the experienced mentors. In the process, we will explore the street of CLOCK TOWER(GHANTA GHAR) and Meherangarh Fort from different location with different angles. Thus, a true essence of blue city Jodhpur with its many facades to capture in offer. In the evening, We will have an image review session of the participants for the shots done of the day and further guidance with a slideshow for the next day tour.
Day 3 Jaisalmer (Fort, Street & Blue Hour)

In the wee hours, we will checkout from Jodhpur and reach Jaisalmer by noon in our hired vehicle. After check-in and lunch, we will explore the allays inside the 100 years old fort with our local model in colorful traditional attire. We will cover the entire fort area to capture its architectural beauty. Later we will shoot the tungsten lit fort in the late evening and blue hours to capture its beauty in the best possible way from best possible vantage point.
Day 4 Jaisalmer (Gadisar Lake, Khuri Dune, Light Painting & Milkyway)
17.03.2021
By 5 am, we will depart for Gadisar lake to catch the first rays of the sun behind the lake and the sculptures. We will get back to hotel to have breakfast and start for Khuri sand dune.
Reaching Khuri, after having the evening tea, we will head towards the sand dunes to catch the play of light and shadow on the golden matrix. Will continue desert shoot watching the sun go down behind the dunes.
Having dinner, we will get back to the desert to shoot Milkyway in combination with light painting in the pitch dark background of the night sky.
Day 5 Khuri (Sand Dune, Camel Safari & Cultural Shoot)
18.03.2021
05 00 am Departure for sand dunes
Desert photoshoot: We will do a lot of experiments with light and shadows on dunes, with camels and the camel drivers and the lines and curves getting created on the the golden sands. On spot guidance of composition and exposure by the mentors will be provided to create stunning landscape and people photography on the go. Participants will be benefitted with the knowledge of using lights, shadows, lines, curves, shapes, silhouttes, humans, animals and other geometrical forms in the best possible way to create their lifetime memories. We will have camel safari for a ride for the lifetime.
After breakfast photo review session or visit to the nearby village to catch the glimpse of their daily life.
3: 00 pm to 8 pm: Departure for sand dunes for the afternoon and evening capture of the desert activities.
In the evening, the entire team will be entertained with the Grand Rajasthani Cultural Evening adorned with folk songs and dances followed by dinner with local delicacy.
Day 6 Khuri-Jodhpur
19.03.2021
0530 am: Shooting in sand dune for one last time… for those who have missed a tricky shot to execute or for those who want to go for one more shot.
Being back, we will have our breakfast and leave Khuri for Jodhpur. Participants will be dropped at Jodhpur Railway Station.

Yes of course. This tour is for all photography enthusiastic people. The more you travel and explore, the more your photographic eye will open. Moreover, our team leaders will ensure to give special attention to the beginners.
I am not a serious photographer, just a traveler. Shall I join this trip?
Yes, you too can join this tour as our tours are designed for both serious photographers and casual travelers for the purpose of both learning and entertainment. But you need to pay the amount of the full fee as the seats are limited and you could take place of a full paid serious photographer.
What equipments are required for this Trip?
Well, even the point and shoot camera will work fine. If you have a DSLR camera, any zoom lens and a wide-angle lens will work best. You may also bring a portrait lens like 50mm or 85mm prime(classic 70-200mm f/2.8 can be the best for the purpose). A wide-angle lens will be helpful to shoot the vastness and the lines and curves of the desert and end to end of the historical forts. Tripod is required to shoot the LIGHT PAINTING & MILKYWAY shoot. A laptop with post-processing software, an extension charging board, an external hard drive, and extra memory cards will be helpful. For review session, you must carry a pen drive along with.
What is the difference between ASP workshop Photo Tours and other tours?
We are not offering a package tour for general tourists; it is specifically meant for photography enthusiastic people and designed by experienced professional photographers. You will discover the place and learn a lot about this ancient city, local people and their culture which is an important part of our travel photography. We will try to observe the local people, their daily activities and cultural beliefs and will try to capture those moments using the right compositions and techniques. Our Team Leaders will help our guests to learn camera settings, framing and as well as post-processing. FEE INCLUDES
- Accommodation on a shared room basis in a standard hotel(couples/friends/partners are allowed to share rooms). In dunes, we will stay in the comfort of the tent with all basic amenities in twin sharing basis.
- All local transports related to our photo tour.
- Workshop fee, on-field assistances, image reviews, and guidance on post-processing.
FEE DOESN’T INCLUDE
- Train/air tickets to and fro.
- Pick up and drop from and to the station or airport to the hotel.
- Any food items and beverages, apart from the standard meals. Mineral water will be provided during meals only. Any individual orders are done by participants to be paid by the participant himself.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
If you cancel your registration, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:
- Greater than 60 days from the start date of the Workshop: full refund.
- 60-45 days: 75% refund
- 45-30 days: 50% refund
- 30-15 days: 25% refund
- Less than 15days: No refund
Under any unavoidable circumstances, if we have to cancel our photo tour, your entire booking money will be refunded.
